Coming from another regions

Hi, I came from LAN server and here I have seen a lot of people that started playing in LAN or EUW but with the time they decided to move their accounts to NA, So I had a question in my mind. Why do the people move their accounts from a region to another, so I created this discussion for sharing our ideas, for me I moved because I meet friends in other game and they asked me to move my account so we can play together at my real account and not smurfs
