How Do You Get AFK penalized?
I was just wondering how much you would have to AFK to get penalized. Is it a percentage of games or a flat amount? I haven't ever gotten banned but I was just wondering.

If you are disconnected or idle for more than a few minutes in a match, that game counts as a "leave". Too many leaves relative to recent games played and you get low priority queue, then eventually time bans if you keep it up. Leaves in Ranked matches count a lot more.
Riot doesn't put out exact numbers because they don't want people to toe the line.
ok.... In order to be considered "afk" its 5 minutes at once. so after 1 "afk" you get a warning after 2 "afk" you receive low priority que for for 5 games with 5 minutes after 3 "afk" it will become 10 minutes and 5 more games after 4 "afk" it will become 20 minutes and 5 more games say i leave in the middle of a game after im alrdy in low priority que, ill get demoted again to the next level, and resetting the games to 5
The exact parameters are unknown so that people can't game the system but it tracks movements ie running around the fountain, sitting in spawn, buying/selling items endlessly, running around in jungle but doing nothing , constant dc/leaves etc. The system has built in leniency so that when the occasional rl issue pops up you're forgiven. It's the constant stuff that gets you hit a lot faster and if you've not gotten hit yet i wouldn't worry about it.
If you do get hit you can always check with help & support on what might be causing the issue.

I get them every game i leave, but thats for 20 min, i used to only get them once every 5 leaves, then before that about once every 10 leaves, but now every other match is a 20 min wait, but im okay with that since i have more time to get stuff done around the house. my bedroom has never been this clean in my life.
