I Need Some Advice For WoW
So I'm a casual player when it comes to MMOs.. I've never really sat down and played one as much as I sat down and played Black Ops 2, TimeSplitters or even this cancerous game.
I've played WoW a few times but nowhere near enough to say I have experience with the game, shoot, I've never even engaged in PvP battles in any MMO, besides the quick dual here and there on Tera, and Defiance. I even did one quick dual in WoW on the trial version with a friend.
My step dad is sharing his account with me (he has an open slot), and since he's go the new expansion, if I'm not mistaken, we get an already lvl 100 character..
But they main reason I'm making this post is because I'm not exactly sure how to play WoW I mean I do but I'm not the type of guy to remember all my keybinds. I just know the basics of what an ability does and casts it and maybe even spams it. So as a newbie seeing a crap ton of keybinds scares me away from trying to play the game. So I'd like to see if there's an easier way a newbie can get used to all these in a decent amount of time. Of course I'm not expecting to learn it all and be a master in just 5min GTFO with that nonsense.
I'm more of a PvE guy but would love to play PvP with some of my friends. As a character style, for years ever since I was a kid, I loved dual wielding daggers or swords on my character. I have grown and interest in casters (mages). As for character type (appearance wise) for MMOs (depending on the game) I'd make my character creepy looking. I think theres a zombie? (I could be confused on which game this is from) but I've been told "no dude it's all about your inventory" as in your items. Your armor and your weapons.
(For those diehard fanboys/girls) I've not been a fully fledged fan. I've always been like, there. On the side but acknowledged it as a popular game and try to be somewhat knowledgeable of the game. I do however own a Battle.net account and I do have Diablo (Which is another game I casually play)
Note: The games I casually play are games I just play, I don't really pay attention to the story I just do the quests, collect my loot, and gain XP. So if you were to ask me about Diablo 3 (im in the second chapter btw) what happened, I'd say "Well there's a Skeleton King, like the one from LotR, and there's a zombie infestation. As well as some dude who fell from the sky.
