HUD text and UI scaled badly on 4K

I recently got a 4k screen and have been playing LoL on it pretty regularly. The text scaling issue has been there since I started using it, but the most recent UI update completely destroyed the text scaling. I could at least read it before, but now I can't do anything. I have tried scaling it down to 1080p, but that didn't fix it either. Does anyone here have any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks!

It's not THAT bad for me, at 1080 the text is a little too large for it's zones. there's a little overlapping in places and even where there's not it looks a bit comically large. I think Riot is just dialing in the new HUD features and hopefully all will be well soon.

My only suggestion in the meantime is to set your actual display's resolution to 1080 and then set it in-game and restart the in-game client. Should hopefully reflush all the graphics through and get you some reasonably sized text

Same thing's been happening on my 3K with the summoner names, but only started with the HUD once the HUD text was changed. It's a huge inconvenience and its almost impossible to read my stats when all the numbers overlap.

I made this thread when I first got my laptop (running 4k) with the hope that it would attract more attention from the community members with the same issues. If we can get more attention from the community (by creating a mega thread) it would hopefully accelerate the process of Riot offering 4k support.
