Is it just me or is this community getting more toxic by the day?

This is a competitive game, no doubt. But I play normal draft mode most often, and can't believe the number of times my own team reports me EVEN WHEN I have the most gold on the team and objective focus (I bring smite mid for scuttle/dragon/baron) because they are just salty af that we lost and I have the lowest number of "kills" (I never complain about "ks" as it's a team game).

Please stop being so toxic....especially in NORMALS.

Learn how to lose as a team, and don't ever blame the person with the MOST gold and objectives on your team just because you're salty they had a Tryndamere backdoor ult victory....

Yeah its getting worse, and its gotten to the point where I am seriously contemplating uninstalling league and going back to Smite. Sure the toxicity was normal for a moba, but it was NEVER as bad as the stuff I have seen on here. People telling them to go kill themselves People threatening to report others for doing things like...Taking too long in the shop (being in shop for >5s = afk?) Even had a teammate try and report his team for VOTING YES ON SURRENDER (His exact words "If u surrender I will report anyone who surrenders on my team"

As I said, I am in the process of installing smite and may just uninstall league. I am sick of being trashed and degraded because some kid with an over inflated ego thinks the rule of pick order doesnt apply to him (lost count how many times people raged and had a fit because they didnt get the role/champ they wanted so threw a complete tantrum)

So yeah, Seems like Riot is only interested in the money, they couldnt care less about the community. And it will just get more and more toxic now that the trolls and greifers have free run of the place. I have a couple friends who play league, see if I can get them to play smite instead.

I'd say dont play Normal Draft. That is currently prisoner's island thanks to riot's 'ranked restrictions' idea.

Normal draft seems to be a weird hybrid. I have had pretty bad experiences playing it- tbh even worse than ranked.

I would prioritize team builder > blind > draft for normals.

The longer the game is out the more people will join and play the game. That increases the amount of toxicity in the game. Coupled with the fact that it's a PC game game so it's the Internet and the animosity will get to people and act a certain way. Also because there is no real consequence when being toxic. Most people who are toxic more than likely have more than one account, so when they get ban they'll go to the next account and continue the process!

It's sad but really there is nothing more we or riot can do. Unless they made it so it's one account per person I really don't see how they would help more than they are now.
