A letter to Riot

Dear Riot, i coming from a land which maybe is a magic. Called "Europe West (EUW)".
I just want to reach out Riot Member, and have a Explanation why are some things only for NA and not for EUW.

**1.The new Chat Restriction. ** Is a nice thing, that Riot care about Toxicity in the Game and wanna to eliminate it. But you have released a uncompleted System on other Regions. While Lyte or some other Riot Member post Chat logs, to proof that people are toxic. We in Europe doesn't have anyone who actually care about Toxic Player and offer them a Improvent. EUW just having an endless Chat Restriction which kinda never end, because we don't have the Bans yet.
My Question: Riot Games Inc, why are you release a System on every region, but then work only for a Region (NA) to complete it. Why does Europe must suffer from endless Restriciton?

2.Activity from Riot I'm in the Forum for 1 Hour (between SoloQ Time). And only Rincewind, Draggles, Ymir maybe, some Riot Support Member are posting in the Forum and try to interact with the Europe Community. Even for other spefic Country in Europe (German) there is only Pente, Kengen and Ariya who posting, and interact with the German Community. If i look over the NA Region, there so many Riot Member who post on Stuff, like FanArts, Question, Comics etc. While on Europe it seem everything is dead. My Question:Is EU understaffed? Why have NA more interaction with Players, and EU only some People?

Please, Riot Games Inc, bring clarification between Riot Games Inc Europe and the European Community. I wanna know why Riot Games Inc, complete the new Chat Restrictio only in NA but not in Europe? Why looks Europe so understaffed between Communication, maybe Interaction too.

I might be able to help with some of the questions, although I don't work for Riot.

  1. Lyte has said in a post recently that they are addressing the NA 14-day bans right now because it's a new system that is being tested on NA before being rolled out into other regions. Because Riot is based in North America, it's easier for them to test it in NA. From what I understand it is a complicated system in which they need to monitor very closely to ensure it works properly. They have intentions to roll out the new banning system once the test is completed in NA. That said, it seems to be working REALLY well from what I have been reading so it might not be too long before it moves out of the testing stage.

  2. I believe these boards are one of the direct ways that Riot is addressing the problem that the communities are split between regions and thus hard for them to keep track of everything. If you notice you can view and post on these boards from any region. As things slowly get moved over to here, it should help bridge the gap in communication and interaction from Riot between all the regions.
