Why chromas aren't worth time or money.
I actually didn't mind them at first, i was looking forward to them in the live game. However, upon reading an online article(that i will not name to protect the innocent and Riot's rep) and doing a little thinking for myself, the article was right.
Chromas are not worth your time, money and patience.
Why pay an extra ~$5 for re-colors of a champion? I would just rather stick with the original and save my money for more important issues, such as funds for college or gifts for family or other such things? Why pay for 3 of them when you're most likely only going to use one and leave the others to collect dust?
Why pay an extra ~$5 for something your could replicate in a mod? We want to stay loyal to Riot and protect ourselves from the threat of the ban-hammer, but do you REALLY expect us to pay MORE money when we could get something similar or better for free?
Why pay an extra ~$5 for a re-color when we could just buy an actual skin(which, by the way. is still more expensive, so it's a double negative.[RP is just expensive to buy in general.])
I understand that no one is forcing you to spend money on the game, but i just hate to see people get hyped up about spending more money for recolors. If we have grinded the IP or paid the actual RP to buy a champion already, why not let us have one on the house? Don't get me wrong, the chromas were an innovative and clever idea on Riot's part, such as the Blue
that got me excited, but i will not be buying them. My apologies to you, Rito.
