Why enchantment Devourer get nerfed ?

They explained that it reminds people of pre nerf Feral Flare but I'm highly unconvinced

  • Except that Feral Flare gives 12 more PHYSICAL AD and free wards
  • And it wasn't exactly a popular item after the nerf, I've seen many people using AS champions like Yi, Nocturne would get Lizard instead. -They also nerf the only useful Smite. -Combine with the general early jungler nerf.

It feels like playing a second support more than ever, farming until 6 then roaming around a bit till teamfight.

Certain champs are able to proc it while using spells. The fact that it increases its own damage by AS is also an issue. The fact it scales beyond the 25 and you get 2 stacks for champion kills and assits.

It needs to start with a lower power curve so not to warp the game. Plus when you add the challenging smite to it you its even more damage.
