Ranked teams System is Broken

So ranked teams system is absolutely broken. I play league with a group of friends, and we're all silver-gold ranked in solo. We made a ranked team and did poorly in provisionals and got ranked Bronze V. Later on, we used another team just to see what we got ranked out of provisionals. After 3 stomp wins, one close win, and one loss, we got placed in Bronze V. What the hell. We checked some things and apparently you won't get ranked high if you face low ranking teams in provisionals. We faced 3 Bronze V teams, one Bronze IV team, and a provisional team. Since we clearly were better than the Bronze V teams. Why were we ranked so low? It is a pretty bad system that bases rankings off of things you can't control. We didn't choose the teams we faced, and even when we did pretty well we get placed in the lowest possible level. How can anybody think that that is a good system? I'm not saying we should have been placed in like Gold, but Bronze V? Really? I mean I would be okay with Bronze I, but Bronze V is unacceptable. 4 wins of 5 games, 3 of which were stomps and we get placed in the lowest tier of the ranked System. Also, one of the friends got his initial ranking in solo/duo as Gold V winning 6 out of his 10 games. So, someone can lose 4 out of 10 games and get placed Gold V but then a team that wins 4 out of 5 games gets placed Bronze V. This is pretty irritating. It is a real punch in the face to be ranked the lowest possible after doing so well.
