In game whispers/messages

Hi, me and my friends always message each other mid game if one just got on and the other is currently in a match. The only problem is, I zone out of the chat most of the time and never see their messages! So, I'm pushing for the idea of allowing players the OPTION to have a more noticeable notification "pop-up" when they receive a whisper mid-game. Since it is an option, people who don't like the annoyance of it can have it turned off but, if you have tunnel-vision like me, can you choose to have "hard to miss" notification appear when a friend wants to chat. Thanks for listening and I hope this post finds it's way to someone who will do something about it.
