To everyone at General Discussion Serious question

theres just certain things that don't fit well with my playstyle, everything i do is because i realize this, so i try to find things that i can do that work well with my playstyle, playing tanks including building tank on supports, and ap mages have never been my strong suit and will probably never work for me no matter how much i try. thats why i dont play top anymore and when i do its only Renekton. because i know if i build tank items on a support or top laner, i wont do a single thing not matter how hard i try. janna and morg are the only supports that i have ever been able to do anything on. building janna tank doesn't work for me and i feed, same thing with morg, everything i do with those champs are something that im either trying or i know works for me, because i have a really weird playstyle that doesn't mesh well with a lot of things

Friend: so wat u sayin is yo playstyle is if i dont do damage idk what to do halp tank items scary Me: no Me: i build tank on renekton Me: but its mostly the champs Me: some champs i cant do well on Me: unless i go offensive Friend: wat.

see your just as confused as me. i can play adc, dodge skills shots all day long be squishy as **** but still do a lot. i play an ap mage. essentially the same thing mechanic's wise and even when i dodge skillshots i dont do ****, even when i land skillshots i feel like they do nothing, and i feel like im usless unless im swain. i can play renekton and lee and build tank all day long, engage teamfights and do anything i want all game long, i play a tanky support like thresh i land a hook on there mid or adc i go in, insta death after using ult and i sit there with a gray screen and watch my team die being useless, i play Top Thresh because garen refused to switch build damage and beat a gnar in lane. a champ that i do utterly nothing on when i build defensive. to a champ that i apparently can beat a gnar in lane with.

the contradictions and everything with how i play confuses me, because i play one thing do well, and play another thing thats Essentially the same like adc or mid or tank top laner and a tank support do well with one but not the other

so your guess is as best as mine, i try so hard to play mid champs and tank supports and tank top laners but when i do

im 2-20 at the end of the game

Friend: sounds like u got some problems Me: i do but at the same time

i play really well and good and know what im doing when im playing a champ that Meshes with my playstyle

but give me a champ that doesn't, unless i find a way to build him. ill feed a bronze player.

The question is. What is my playstyle, why are there so many contradictions with the way I play. my playstyle is so weird in fact I don't even know how to describe it so im asking you GD Wtf is my playstyle.

Ok, first off your thoughts are completely jumbled up to the point where it's practically rambling. Second, you haven't clearly stated your question. From what I can tell, though, you seem to be struggling with mechanics in general. So, from looking at the examples you've given me it seems as though you can't figure out how to properly play any champion that relies on burst damage (save Renekton) or champions that are often built as tanks. Your playstyle is what i'd like to call Hyper-aggressive. You rely heavily on dealing as much damage per second as possible and you are completely unable to handle any champion that does not suit your nature. What I would suggest doing if you wish to learn how to handle burst mages is to start practicing with Ryze. He's arguably the simplest mage in the game and according to Faker, Ryze one of the two champions that every mid lane main should be able to play because he teaches you how to cast spells in order. Twisted Fate is the second champion Faker thinks all mid laners should be able to play, but that's just because he teaches you to look at the map (as he puts it). As for handling tank top lanes, generally a lot of them are avoided due to the constant counterpicking that's done to them. However, a good place to start would be to use Shyvana. Shyvana is naturally very durable, and most people who play her often can deal viable amounts of damage while still remaining tanky. Here are two builds for Ryze and Shyvana, both of which I frequently use. Make it a point to study their mechanics and you'll do fine with them.

As a side note, for the Shyvana build I prefer to max Twin Bite second instead of flame breath. I don't really use Flame Breath for anything besides the bonus damage to marked targets. Of course, feel free to experiment with that build how you see fit.

You can't turn every champion into a tank by buying defensive items...

It sounds like you don't have a good grasp of controlled-burst-potential. Your playstlye sounds more like an all-in fight-to-the-death type. When you play champs like ap mages, you need to have a good understanding of how much damage you can output with all of your cooldowns as well as how vulnerable you are when they are used up. Most ap champs can't 100-0 someone unless they're extremely fed. You need to utilize controlled bursts and disengage to poke people down, then so it again when your cooldowns come back up.

If you are playing a squishy support and building like a tank, you need to adapt your playstyle around that. Lulu and Sona are two that I often see built that way and you basically just use your disables, bait people to attack you, and kite them while your teammates kill them. Building tanky on supports like that puts more dependence on your teammates doing damage, but it can be very useful against champs that can delete you before you get your spells off.

When I 1st started playing I thought Lee did no damage and was squishy also.. but, u don't have to straight out build health on him. You need to be able to jump in and out, Lee can be played to kill and not die if you take the time to learn his mechanics.

BTW i am no expert, but practice certain moves in create, or basic bot and u can learn anyone :)
