What happened to you, Riot?

I guess I am most upset about the last couple of months, during which there has, seemed to be, more server issues than any other time I can remember. As a company, Riot, use to give us, the players upholding the summoners code, something in return for problems like server unavailable, lag spikes, and/or downtime. Whatever, I am most concerned with the fact that while you, Riot, were looking into ISP issues and had a download for us to install and send you the results, which I did. There is no record of this, not among my pending requests. Actually, I cannot find any evidence of it anywhere and would like to know more about why I did that, what you got from it, if it helped, was my ISP a problem one, as i expected it was, is this likely to happen in the future? I have been playing League of Legends for a long time and remember a time when, it was more fun, maintained better, and had better customer service and did things like free skins, IP or XP boosts, a week where all champs were free. Little things that let us know you were, sorry. Oh well, maybe you, Riot, are just to big now. I could go on, but going to see what your response to this one is first.

Thank you, Bosign88 BetterThnU Muted

When the lag started hitting hard it was a serious issue for major services across all of NA, I actually have a post on it here (tl;dr DDoS Attacks).

Unfortunately when this was finally fixed (by a massive movement of additional server resources and new ISP's), they had a patch ready and rearing to go, which brought the natural patch pains of unique dc, framerate, champion and other issues that managed to slip through the PBE. People are still having issues of course, that will always happen with a huge MMO like League, but I think (purely speculation) the massive network infrastructure change has messed with their support and created a few small problems along the way.

As for compensation, personally I'm just glad they shored up their defenses and fixed it in an astonishingly fast 2 weeks. Seriously, for a massive attack on whole ISP's that's super quick. But I wouldn't want to set precedent of Riot giving RP away anytime something goes wrong, especially if it isn't their fault. It would be kinda like owning a coffee shop and handing out free drinks after the building had caught fire and you got it fixed. And I think the majority of people were just glad to be going back to a stable connection. And yes, sorry, but most of NA is okay now. :(

Fellow summoners should comment if you feel the same way.

I agree, doesnt matter how many posts you make now, Riot doesnt really care. Their customer service team sucks. No one cares about all the reports. All they care about is their money. Just look at NA's server, I just had a game right where my ping was at 118 when it was just 15 last game. And no, im not downloading anything, on the http://www.pingtest.net/ i had perfect ping on 15. In league i have 118 or 120. I have reported many lag topics, but they seems to be ignored. Meanwhile they just released a new skin. Arctic Ops Varus, they ignore the fact their server is still lagging, just release a new skin so we can play the new skin in the lag. So overall, if Riot doesnt care about us, Why should we play their game? Lots of other good games are out there, SMITE, DOTA 2, Even Hon!
