Hello everyone , I don't know if you people in riot still think Africans live in Zoo's and sleep with tigers , you are wrong .. A lot of us play league of legends and the greatest thing of playing is constantly playing on 200+ ping ... -_- If can give out huge amounts of money , why cant you just create a server for Africa , so that EVERYONE can enjoy the game. I see Dota doing it it , why can't riot just implement this into League of Legends instead of making all African players lag while playing the game. Maybe it hasn't crossed your minds but yes , we do actually have house , that are made of bricks , not hay and animal skin .. We do have internet lines , we do not send messages in a bottle across the ocean.

Africa should definitely get a server, but in time. Obviously, the limiting factor is time, not money, and placing a server takes a very long time. Not to mention, Africa is rather large. I believe an Africa mega-server would have the largest area to cover over any server, placing a strain on pings. Plus, there is quite a bit of area in Africa that frankly would never use the server, because it's a developing area. Areas like Cairo or Dubai would get use of the server, while areas like Sierra Leone, for example, would rarely use it.

I'm not trying to say Africa should not get a server, but it's a much more difficult process than some people may think, and should be treated as such.

How about you do some research yourself in the internet instead of believing in stereotypes? Yes, there are poor regions of Africa, but you know, Africa is actually a quite huge continent, it's not only grasslands and people leaving in small villages.

There are poor places in Africa. But there's poor places everywhere, some which are even more poverty stricken than Africa (I've seen homeless slums outside of Orlando, as an example)

Before you flag this and spam downvotes hear me out ... or try to... Africa is still developing overall, the majority income and technological levels are not YET caught up to make video gaming luxuries a lucrative market.

Yes, Riot/Tencent are BUSINESSES, and they exist to make MONEY. Logically speaking it makes sense to look into areas with populations that are more fit for video gaming hobbies (electricity, internet, technological availability, and most importantly free time/income for hobbies)
