Got permanently suspended? No context given, never before received a ban or even chat restriction

I logged in today to find that my account has been ''Permanently suspended''. The email i received to justify this gives absolutely no context whatsoever. I have never before received any kind of warning,temporary ban or even a chat restriction. I have already submitted a ticket to Riot support but what can this be? I also spotted a notification on reddit about a recent ban wave. Can anyone provide any context to this whole situation and what possibly happened to my account.

Log in to your account on the client and it should show a reform card if it was due to toxic behavior. If no card shows, then the system may have detected cheating. Scripts and intentionally abusing bugs to get an unfair advantage can result in a ban. I have also heard that if you move your residence or play games while on vacation in another state without informing Riot support, an automated system may determine that your account is being elo boosted, especially if there is a fluctuation in skill.

For perma bans, Riot uses the year you were banned to as a code for why you were banned. The year 2203 is the code for botting/other 3rd party programs.

2203 = Botting or scripts

It looks like someone bought a account on ebay.
