Vote to go back into a new queue in ranked!

I believe there should be some form of vote in champion select to be able to leave the game without penalties. obviously that would be a team decision therefore it would be an appropriate. if a team member feels bad and is stuck with a role they don't like they're not going to do their best. this way. the team can collectively make a group decision wether to leave the game and try for another group, or stick to the game and hope for the better.. thats just one scenario.. i really want this is to weed out the toxic players honestly. a vote in champion select to deem someone as an abusive player. I had one game where i was seriously offended and my morale was 0 because i chose a lane someone in a duo queue wanted. i was slammed with taunting of my match history and my elo status. i was shunned for picking summoner spells wrong apparently and for picking a champion they think i have no past experience with. No one should have to deal with that kind of torment and the tribunal doesn't pick up on all of the toxic players. this way, eventually, most of the generally friendly and versatile summoners will remain in the same area and you'll start to notice all of the toxic players when they're grouped up because the rest of their team from last game voted him out for being a jerk. the simple thing would be to mute them but i can't do that in champion select. maybe they should add that. I was really offended with the way they ganged up on me and no one would back me up. one sad panda and sourd9. watch out for those two they are extremely toxic.

I think this is a great idea because you always get that one person who will not switch there role for anything example "Mid or Feed" and then you are stuck with that person the whole game we should be able to avoid those situations also having a system like this would help when all 5 of the player do not know a roll to play. Example "all know how to play ad brizers but do not know how to play Ap or ADC and then they would have to throw someone into that role when that person has no knowledge of the role". A system were we can vote for a new match up would be great so that penalty does not go into effect.

i'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. hopefully team builder will address this down the road. the first testing seems to have gone well, but the current format is ONLY designed for blind pick. not even ranked yet. if they can apply it to draft, then they will be able to apply it to ranked. the only thing you can do with players like that is mute them and go on with your game. it's hard. but it's all you can do. just continue to treat people the way you want to be treated and eventually people like that will get what's coming to them. when it's not ranked i just leave games like that. but as you say in ranked you can't mute them. can't leave. you're locked into what is an almost certain loss. very depressing. try to ignore such things. it's an unfortunate aspect of a portion of our community. and far too widespread for me to be comfortable with it. they won't be doing what you're asking. it doesn't solve the root of the problem. it would increase queue times and you'd end up with LOTS of games reset.

RIOT will eventually try to win this war. all you can do is encourage summoners to not stand for such behavior. all we can do is encourage people to follow the summoners code and hope that riot can improve champ select to help avoid this. but ultimately it is up to us to censure such behavior by not encouraging it. i.e. ignoring it when it happens. bullies like that hate being ignored. so ignore them. bullies like that love to be argued with, so don't. just tell them that they are being rude and mute them as soon as you're in game. walk away from the champ select after u've picked ur champ and just accept what happens. if you get angry. they win. if you get upset. they win. if you lose they win. but if you keep your calm,ignore what htey do and do the best that you can at playing YOUR game. they don't win.

ehh i know it's pretty farfetched and i'm kinda glad i'm getting positive feedback so soon after i posed this. I mute toxic players in game but sometimes they just want to be the bad guy before the game even starts. like master of AFKing said "mid or feed" is a common threat and arm bender you have to deal with. and they keep doing it because people submit. they'd rather win and not enjoy the game than tell them no you don't get to act that way and get away with it and risk a loss. you're right though it would mess up the servers too much solan but i do believe they should extend the tribunal to before and after games as well and some way to ignore them. usually it's whatever but there are few cases where people take it too far just for a role and it's pretty damn crazy how angry people get at a game. a fun experience turns into a verbal war and the game is no longer a game it's a pissing contest
