Chat Option Idea

Hello I'm an NA summoner with an idea for an extra chat option. Before I continue I will admit I can be an ignorant toxic person. I try not to be by muting players who are getting under my skin. I've went as far as to disable all chat on my own. But I don't think that is enough. I have problems with abusive teammates. Sure I mute them, but I was hoping we could implement an option that would disable "ALL" chat. You won't receive anyone's messages. I don't play League for the social experience, god knows it's dipping its feet in the Call of Duty community behavior. We could communicate through pings, I mean that is what they are for right? That chat restrictions on reported players give them limited messages to type then they have to resort to pings. Wouldn't be any different. But instead of you not talking, your team won't. I know some people will immediately think that will lead to a refusing to communicate with team report. But I honestly think it will help. I know we've all met that troll spitting toxic venom at least once who's on your team. Hope I'm posting this on the right board.
