Ashe needs a little bit of love.
she doesn't get enough from tryndamere
i just finished typing this and realized that the entire text looks really really long. lol
just a few thoughts you don't have to agree, and the changes, of course, of course, do not need to be implemented at all. i just think that it'd be nice. lol
like... lissandra's
been a go-to pick in solo queue and in the lcs/lpl/lck. tank junglers (e.g., sejuani
) got the cinderhulk and stuff. (don't get me wrong, i have no problem at all with lissandra [i don't personally use her in-game] and i use sejuani in the jungle and top lane)
picking trashe
usually isn't a good thing to do in a ranked game (hell, sometimes even in normals) lol. either get flamed at or get called luckers because the enemy ad carry happened to "be worse than you" lol.
ashe isn't all that bad right now, imo. it's just that the other ad carries just all outshine her.
anyway, she has decent cc, her w scales well with ad, and her e comes very much in handy — both the active and passive — and she has a global ult that has a pretty cool long-distance stun. but she lacks a good method of escape, and her passive becomes irrelevant after the early game, pretty much.
i thought of what slight changes we could give to a her, and here are a couple:
currently, her passive is
FOCUS: If Ashe has not attacked in the last 3 seconds, she gains 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 Focus stacks per second. At 100 stacks, Ashe will critically strike on her next basic attack. Thereafter, Focus stacks will reset to an amount equal to her critical strike chance.
her lore states that after being led to avarosa's cairn (while being chased by her would-be assassins) ashe grabbed the enchanted bow and the cold flowed into ashe and awakened some sort of tremendous, dormant power that was always inside of her. and when the assailants caught up to her she turned around and killed them all with her volley
anyway, what if her passive was changed into this?:
new FOCUS: If Ashe has not attacked in the last 7 seconds, she gains 2 /4 / 5 / 6 / 7 Focus stacks per second. At 100 stacks, Ashe will stun the next enemy unit or neutral monster for 0.75 seconds. Thereafter, Focus stacks will reset to an amount equal to her Frost Shot level.
and maybe the active for her hawkshot should be tweaked a little. right now, it is:
Hawkshot: | RANGE: 2500 / 3250 / 4000 / 4750 / 5500 | NO COST | COOLDOWN: 60 / 55 / 50 / 45 / 40 PASSIVE: Ashe gains 3 bonus gold each time she kills a unit or destroys a structure. ACTIVE: Ashe animates a hawk to scout for her, granting sight for 2 seconds as it flies towards a target location. Hawkshot grants a 1000-radius area of sight for 5 seconds when it reaches its destination. The sight extends into brushes.
but what if ashe was given a chance to have a method of escape with this change:
new Hawkshot: | RANGE: 2500 / 3250 / 4000 / 4750 / 5500 | COST: 80 Mana | COOLDOWN: 50 / 40/ 35 / 30 / 25 PASSIVE: Ashe gains 3 bonus gold each time she kills a unit or destroys a structure. ACTIVE: Ashe animates a hawk to scout for her, granting sight for 2 seconds as it flies towards a target location. Hawkshot grants an 875-radius area of sight for 5 seconds when it reaches its destination. The sight extends into brushes. ** Ashe gains 125% increased movement speed that decays over the last 5-seconds of Hawkshot's active.**
these are the couple of changes that i think will get ashe picked (and banned) everywhere. relevance. i know that working with the codes is hard work and all, but i think that these changes would be nice to see. and if this does get considered, maybe just one of these changes could be made instead of both of them if that would be the better decision. and of course, the numbers don't have to stay as i suggested above.
