In S4 i won 1 out of 10 of my provisionals and was placed in bronze two. In S5 I won 4 out of 10 of my provisionals and was placed in bronze four. I never fed in any of my games and i usually had a positive KDA. Can anyone explain why this occured?

Your MMR sucks
It's based on previous seasons. So if you were bronze 2 last season, and u only won 4 out of 10, that means u are worse than bronze 2 now, and it put u lower since u did not get a 50/50 win ratio (which would still put u lower, probably bronze 3) Since u never played ranked until season 4, it had nothing to base off of, so it put u only based on those first games
