Buyable hard resets for MMR/ELO
I've been pondering the idea for the longest of times.. the idea of buyable resets for MMR or ELO that reset your MMR back to the median average of an unranked player before their initial provisional matches or even more so full account stat resets that allow someone to start fresh.. Maybe on their road to level 30 they had some bad runs and their total MMR for normals got tanked because of it. Give them a chance to start with a clean record at level 30 with a buyable reset.
I know the first thing everyone will say "Oh that sounds like it could be abused." and yes I know there's potential for abuse but there are limiting factors that could be put into place..

Limited Purchases: One easy way that abuse could be prevented or limited is make it so they're limited to only X number of purchases per season per account.

Limited availability : Only make the resets available in the time around the pre-season ranked reset or other short spans of the year .

Prohibitive pricing: Price is as an account service rather than as a typical store item make it cost $30-$40 worth of RP to purchase make the person consider how much they're going to invest to get this done "Do I want to spend that much money to reset my account stats and have to start nearly from square 1?"

Combinations: Maybe instead of a single solution try a combination of them maybe make them reletively expensive and only availible during the pre-season. "Oh the end of the season is here and the preseason is starting do I want to start clean or try to work with what i have?"
4.a Make them avalible during the preseason but make them expensive.. "Do i wanna buy this awesome Snowdown or Harrowing skin or do I wanna have a clean start going into the new season thats coming up in a month or two?"
There are ways to mitigate the abuse potential but its up to good faith from the player base and Riot to make it a successful idea.
