Hextech Chests question

So i've been getting S and S+ ratings on different champions lately, trying to get a chest, but to no avail. I don't know if i missed some info but in the crafting menu it says that i have boxes available for obtaining, and to my understanding i should get one for S rating. could anyone clear that up for me please?
