New type of hack?

I recently was playing a game of league with a friend from work. I noticed right away that something was off. I was disconnected in the loading screen..something that 99% of the time never happens to me. I log into the game and like a tractor beam I am travelling to the enemy fountain, only I cannot change the path. Trying to unplug and replug the keyboard, as well as mouse did nothing. I died respawned and off to the fountain I went for a second time. So knowing this is now someone doing this to me, I alt f4 and close the game. Reload and start playing. Of coarse now down 2 levels...given the mid lane (who is playing blitz) 2 kills. So I return to my lane, everything seems to be working fine and I continue to play. The game goes on like usual and we now reach mid to late game. Now im not saying that I never get grabbed by blitz. But this guy was landing 100% of his grabs. Even in areas he had no ward coverage or sight. He just new and he would always grab you. I tested even just flashing to the side. Still grabbed me. You could say ooooh no he just is really good...no...In this game human error always comes into play. So when his glove is always smack dab in the center of my champ...somethings up. We continue to play. We end up winning. So that just goes to show you how bad this player actually is. I searched his account and hes a silver 2. So the end of the match comes and not to be rude. But I just wanted my intensions known...I said Blitz im reporting you...and then in chat all I could say is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Over and over and over just aaaaaaaaaaaaa. Once again I unplug my keyboard mouse, even ethernet and reconnect, and no my a button was not stuck. This time it works and I was able to report him and now write this message. So the person of interest apparently cannot be named. I didn't see my last two posts why they were deleted. But ya sorry rito @_@.

Which leads me to question period. Has anyone had something like this happen to them? Can these people please be deleted off the servers so they stop ruining a game experience that truely is unique. I have been playing this game since end of season 2 and I really enjoy this game still. But people like this must be not allowed to get away with this. Otherwise they change the minds of the true fans of this game, and then people stop playing. Why would I want to play if I know that someone is just going to cheat and have a unfair advantage. All it takes is one sour apple to ruin the bunch.

The thing where you walk to the enemy fountain wasn't a hack/exploit. It's an issue that can happen when you alt-tab out. Switch from fullscreen to windowless or vice versa to fix that part.

Well.... An interesting story indeed.

But I wouldn't exactly call it a hack, that's a little different and don't want to get into that. This sounds like unauthorized remote control.

And to be able to navigate around gates, and security, on a server that is being used by many other people.... Well that's a skill that would seem very unlikely for someone to use in a video game when they can go somewhere else and do this, that would possibly cause more damage.

Of course, this would depend on the person's intentions.

And according to your scarce and not-too-concrete evidence, we don't know if this is even a person.

Given that, this is quite a bug. Really though, just think about it. Things sometimes go ridiculously nuts in a game that's not supposed to happen, when typically we believe there's someone hiding behind an 'untraceable' address doing that, but really, it could be a bug. Which, in normal circumstances, is more likely than the former.

If this is occurring extremely often to other people, then Riot will notice and take action.

But, If this is only happening to you, it either is you, your computer, your internet connection, a bug, or this post is a troll. These are probable occasions.

Riot's not going to chase after this problem, waste their time and money, when it's only happening to one person.

At any rate. If this happens again and seriously messes with your game play, then gather screenshots, and attach your log folder to a support ticket.
