@Riot or anyone: So how does one actually get into the PBE?

Any insight as to what drives PBE decisions? The site says its based on what they are currently working on, but I applied for the PBE months ago and haven't heard a word, despite being a jungle main during massive jungle changes. Now a new jungle champ is dropping and I still haven't heard anything, and can't reapply. About a year back I had a friend randomly apply and he got in within a day. Really kinda frustrated. :/

Did you search for an email from them? o.o i didn't check until maybe 4 months later and there it was Riot sent me an email saying hey your in PBE

PBE acceptance is pretty much random. Riot has said plenty of things about their new acceptance policies but at the end of the day they barely accept anyone new and it's mostly just randomized.

Make sure you've signed up for PBE. Most people wait anywhere from 6-12 months to get approved.
