Any insight as to what drives PBE decisions? The site says its based on what they are currently working on, but I applied for the PBE months ago and haven't heard a word, despite being a jungle main during massive jungle changes. Now a new jungle champ is dropping and I still haven't heard anything, and can't reapply. About a year back I had a friend randomly apply and he got in within a day. Really kinda frustrated. :/

GanksLikeGast0n1 votesYeah I check my email daily. I just kind of figured that since they weren't doing anything jungle related I was being passed over, then all the changes dropped and I thought I might have a shot, but I didn't hear anything.
I'm just kinda bummed that someone can get in randomly that doesn't specialize in any position, and when they start doing things right up my alley I don't hear anything. :(

pro4never1 votesPBE acceptance is pretty much random. Riot has said plenty of things about their new acceptance policies but at the end of the day they barely accept anyone new and it's mostly just randomized.
Make sure you've signed up for PBE. Most people wait anywhere from 6-12 months to get approved.

The only people I know who have been accepted for PBE waited a minimum of 6 months, are lower rated and were not accepted because of any grand experience with certain champions or roles that were being tested on PBE.
Without inside knowledge it's not like I can say 'no, there's no selection process' but it certainly seems their PR statement about how the new PBE process would work is complete bullshit.
Hell originally they were going to be disabling old accounts, doing a constant cycle of new temporary accounts based on what was being tested and none of that ever happened.
