Support Main Needs Help Climbiing

Last season (Season 5), I was Gold V and was happy where I was. I was with people around my skill level. This season, my skill level is around Silver II-Gold IV. This season I got placed in Silver IV. A person playing other roles can easily carry him/herself to their ideal rank, but I main support and as such cannot really carry myself to higher ranks. My secondary role is ADC, but I cannot farm (which is a big problem). I do know some people I can duo queue with too. How do you propose I climb?
