Teams with AFK

Could we all, even you at Riot, at least agree that when in a ranked game and a player dc's that people in the match should at least not get demoted? This is ridiculous! I mean seriously, taking full LP loss is one thing, but losing a hard earned rank due to an afkers?

Sorry to add yet another post about the issue, but it is easily one of the most enraging things about the ranked system and is unfair to all parties involved.
