I would like to have some ideas on what could be an interesting direction for LOL...

This may be an idea that would take a long time to be created and be available in game..., but something that would be really interesting to see in-game is something like a "random event". What im talking about is something that could come out of nowhere and either be benefitial or tragic for either or both teams. Imagine you are ahead 10 kills and about to pounce on a wondering teemo wondering around baron pit shrooming here and there...he doesn't know that your Dragon Slayer braum has warded every single bush on the map. The whole team is on point and all ready to take baron soon after this kill. You initiate. To your surprise the enemy team has used teemo bait and the epic 5v5 breaks out this fight could cost baron, several towers or even the game. Then all of a sudden because at least all 5 champions have taken at least 1 damage a random event activates where a moderately powerful dragon flies in and starts attacking everything in sight. Do you kill the dragon and hope the enemy team realizes that if all 10 people aren't on the same page that there will be a double Ace or do you kill the 27/4 katerina that is doing a ballerina move right in the middle of your carries. Just saying... dragons could take over.. Please send over some ideas regarding the limitations and reasonable abilities and strength that a random dragon should have.

Randomness kills balance. We already have enough RNG with Critical Strikes. Imagine a team obviously winning a game then a random event kills all of them and they lose. It had nothing to do with their skill or planning, luck just fucked them over.

Im not trying to take an im right your wrong position I appreciate this first comment but I think just because something that wasn't expected happens that potientially wins the game doesn't rule out that there wasn't skill and strategic methods utilized to ensure victory...Players could escape when they are low health to be able to defend towers or make sure to last hit the monster with a high dmage move or smite and maybe get a reasonable heal or shield or sumthn idk... but the threat is there for both teams. Meaning that they would all have to react accordingly to ensure that this situation ends up in their favor. Idk if I lost a game cuz a dragon came in and ate me id think to myself fuck.. but id rather it be that than a teammate who I verbally assaulted all game for not realizing that after so many deaths your just not gna be able to charge your lane opponent and not get yet another death.

Its difficult to justify a random event that would be acceptable in League of Legends. Let's hypothetically say that random events were implemented and they were put on some kind of timer. Every (x) minutes, something happens. Or perhaps the random events happen at random, so you can't time their occurrences. Now think of yourself as an ADC. You're farming bot for your item 1038 and suddenly Nocturne ganks your lane. During the gank, a random event occurs and everyone on both teams are silenced for (x) seconds. You can't contest this 3v2 and now you've lost any escape, resulting in your death.

This could result in quite a bit of rage on your part, and it would be justified. Nothing, besides maybe Nautilus's passive would have saved you. This also puts the enemy carry in the lead, making your lane harder.

The next time you're in lane and your Udyr ganks, all champions become slowed because of a random event. Your jungler already blew his flash getting out of a sticky situation in the previous random event, having been tanky enough to survive the (x) second silence. This results in a failed gank, setting your jungler behind and the assist the enemy jungler got from ganking previously sets him ahead, allowing for invades into your jungle.

Not only does this snowball the game into the opposition's favor, it also cripples you at no fault of your own. Sure, you could have bought a item 1054 instead of a item 1055 to increase your survivability, but then your opposing lane might have a damage advantage over you. This form of randomness can not only ruin games, it could also potentially destroy pro-play. Not one wants to win the world championship because all champions on the map got ignited and a Soraka ult was crippled.

I'm not against events, just the randomness of them. If each of them had specific conditions that had to be filled and not just "% chance to happen" then it might be cool. People could purposely trigger certain events or might accidentally trigger something they didn't want, but they don't feel cheated because it was their fault it happened.
