Two things we would want Riot to do

The first one is a feature that many players have asked for many times, which is the choice of the champs voices language, which doesn't seem to be that difficult to do, since you can do it manually (But you have to redo for every patch). And the second one, which is more important to me, is for Riot to try to officially add LoL on Steam, because most PC gamers use this service, and on the other hand, it would be really great if we could use our Steam Wallet funds to buy RP. I know people would say that Valve won't allow a competitor to DotA 2 on Steam, but you can see a lot of F2P games on it, even those which are similar to TF2 or CS, which are both made by Valve.

Steam would be a terrible idea.

First off, Riot doesn't need help supporting downloading and patching the game which is what steam would help provide. Riot doesn't need visibility on the game via steam, everybody knows about league. Steam already allows its overlay on non-steam games very easily so there's no advantage there to the player if it's officially on steam.

Steam takes a cut of all purchases (30% minimum, that's pretty average). This would mean any purchase made with steam wallet money would get a HUGE chunk taken out and sent directly to the company making the game that is their biggest competition. Right now Riot is only getting cuts from creditcard companies and cell companies (I've heard SMS payment methods take huge cuts of the profits).

There is ZERO advantage for Riot to put it on steam, and the only advantage the player would get is if they have some steam wallet funds from selling tf2 items. That's not worth all the crap for Riot.

As for voice stuff, I guess I could see the one reason against this would be that it promotes non-english (or korean or whatever) people to play. I would prefer everybody speaks english, or tries their hardest to. But I think that might be blowing it out of proportion a bit...I'd like to be able to use different languages just for fun.
