Corsair scimitar HELPPP!?!?!?!

Hey guys, I bought a Scimitar and the side keys wont work. I tried remapping them, adding a new action, deleting and re downloading the corsair software, switching USB ports and still nothing. I've emailed Corsair twice and no response so I'm hoping somebody on the forums has this mouse and can help. stinks a bunch that I payed 70 bucks for a mouse and I cant even use it.
