14 day ban on level 9 account

Every single game since I started the account has been an insult-fest. People spewing insults at eachother non-stop. I did not play a single game where this didn't occur. All I am guilty of is defending myself when someone insulted me when I did absolutely nothing wrong. I got reported after every single game no matter what. There was a game where I did not say anything and I got a message that said "Your behavior isn't in line"

And now I have a 14 day ban.

Needless to say, I'm pissed. So I'm going to go ahead and log onto my main (which is currently plat 3) and proceed to feed my ass off straight down to bronze. After all that is what a toxic player does right? See you guys on the Rift!

This is your logic if im correct: People yell toxic behavior so I shoudl return it! People feed all the time, so Im going to feed!

And eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind. people need to start seeing that there are ways to fight toxicity without being a toxic ass as well.

Ignore/mute- shuts them up on the chat for you, but will they still feed, or rage? yes but at least thier chat wont annoy you.

Be calm and cool- toxic people love when they get under your skin and love it mroe when you yell back. Just be calm and cool and give them nothing to feed off of. If you be loving or postivie then they will just look like an ass.

Dont spam "report X"- say it like once or after the game, its annoying to remind everyone to report x over and over.

Good to see that you gave in to pressure and are going to act like the toxic players, and letting them irritate you to a point of making yourself act stupid/lower yourself to their level?

I'd rather take a bronze player with great attitude than a plat 3 with miserable attitude. Enjoy your two week ban.

Riot says don't defend yourself, so what they are saying is if a bully is beating you up, you should not defend yourself and thank them for breaking your face.

how exactly did you defend yourself? While ill admit Riots whole "dont retaliate" seems kinda iffy. its all we got, and majority of the time its best to just let it go. ive been playing League of Legends for a long time, possibly over 5 years. I have been called possibly every curse, racial slang, and homophobic word in the book and not once did i feel the need to tell the other person how i felt because it didnt matter. I can mute them and never have to see what the type (till after the game and usually by then ill just leave quickly to my next game)

What people need to understand is that when people are toxic they want to get you riled up because they think its funny. Plus they know how the system works and can report you because you are insulting them as well. Doesnt matter how justified it was, you are still in the wrong. You have so many ways to just ignore it. use it and move on. you dont take the bait while they might go after you in a harsher tone, sooner or later they will give up!
