I'll be honest Riot I thought your lore team at least PRETENDED their decisions weren't totally destroying your own story. Wiping the entire reason for most "champions" (if you can still bother to call them that) to be fighting each other isn't a smart lore decision. Why's Maokai fighting? More importantly, why's he alive when there's no summoners? Why is Cho'Gath not just having an all-you-can-eat buffet with Kog'Maw on Ionia? Why is Vel'Koz fighting instead of going around and gathering information about things OTHER than the champions?

What's the map called now? The rift? There's too much here that you just totally removed with this change.

Look, we've seen them tear one thing down, but we haven't yet seen what they'll build in its place. Give them a chance before you go too far down this road.

They already said Summoners Rift now is no longer canon. In other words the game we are playing has no basis or context in their new story. There is no chance to be given with that knowledge. Anything they do from here is an automatic failure given that the main gameplay now has no basis in Lore.
