Cosmetics Should Not Give Mechanical Advantages

Moocow Alistar is a hilarious skin, all around pretty great. The cowbell is hilarious! The first or second time. When it's spammed nonstop in laning phase though, it becomes difficult to focus on cs and positioning. Especially for someone who has ADHD, like myself. Normally when someone spams voice lines, I go into settings > sound > voice and turn it to 0. But this doesn't apply to cowbell. I believe it should. You COULD mute the cowbell by turning off SFX, but then you have a strict disadvantage placed against you. You can't hear things that are slightly off screen. You can't hear sion screaming, or rek'sai screeching, you miss out on important auditory cues that are tied to SFX by muting the cowbell. This is a really difficult disadvantage to play around.

I believe the fix to this is very simple. Change the cowbell to be attached to the voice volume slider instead of the SFX slider. The voice slider adjusts the volume of a cosmetic feature of league, taunts. I believe that putting moocow alistars cowbell in with the voice slider is the best answer, as it treats a cosmetic as it should be treated. Optional, and toggle-able.

You can mute the enemy's chat and it will disable their emotes too. People that spam them annoy me as well, so I was more than grateful when that feature was added.

Slight tangent from your original post, but since you mentioned these things, I have to ask:

I wasn't aware that rek'sai screeches. And I'm curious what sorts of other auditory cues you're talking about. I'm deaf, so sound-based things are entirely lost on me. I miss pings sometimes (since I can't hear them and can't be looking at my minimap 100% of the time), and I am well-aware of that moment when Sion comes flying out of the fog without warning, since I can't hear the warning. My sister mentioned the sound with Sion and Kled ults, but I didn't know there were others. Which makes me wonder what other kinds of cues I'm missing.
