If only League players were nicer to low lvl players

I always find myself in a sticky situation with my amount of experience with this game. If league players were kind and had a positive attitude when teaching people like me how to play the game, just imagine how much better this community would be. Sure, you can swear at someone. At least make it up by apologizing or something. I feel that every time someone like me gets mocked for being bad, it lowers their self-esteem. Which might eventually cause them to actually quit the game. I wanna know if there's anyone else who feels this way. It might just be my anxiety kicking in but yea. Any thoughts on this?

The problem is when you try to nicely point out a mistake and what someoen could have done better. Often times they will take it as a personal attack start raging then report you at end of game.

I get where both of you are coming from and it's a sad thing really. I think sometimes when people think they give advice it sounds more like an order or insult, and sometimes people just don't want any advice.

Having said that though, I never hesitate to ask if I have a question. If I know something that will help someone it is tricky to tell them. Even if you do so in the nicest way some people take exception to you.

I do agree with your OP though, my roommate helps me a bunch and that goes a long way, I'm not sure I'd have continued to play if not for her help. In truth, I'm not very good and need all the help I can get ;)

Q: you say your friends tell you it's fun, why don't they help you? Or you could ask around for some people from here to play with you and help. I know there are a lot of nice people on who would do this. GL to you.

Answering your question, it's most likely because I'm a girl. :p I'm not the best at this game either. I too could use all the help I could get, but friends can be intimidating. o.O

There really are some nice people around. I hope you find some people you can play with and trust. I will say that although I'm not that good I do know the basics if you want to add me and then I can have you add my roommate who is very good maybe we can help you out. At the very least with us you don't have to worry about being flamed if you make a mistake.
