Leaving a game

I dont think there should be a penalty for leaving a game at all. Matchs take a large amount of time to play so if my team is just trolling or feeding really hard I dont think I should have to sit through another 20 minutes with a bunch of really bad players who refuse to forfeit the game or just want to troll people. Why should I have to suffer? Im not gunna just sit there and attempt to win an unwinnable match... Im simply going to afk. you cant come up with one good excuse as to why there should be a penalty... if someone leaves the game they probably have a good reason for it.

Real life stuff comes up and people have to leave, its just a game and they shouldnt be penalized for it there team is trolling, they shouldnt have to sit there and endure it the match is unwinnable but team refuses to FF, again shouldnt have to sit there and endure it

You say that but the moment someone AFKs in your ranked game i bet you will flip out about it when you see they played 3 more games after that and AFK'd in them too.

i agree in a perfect world you definitely should be able to leave a game whenever you want. if they had a replacement player system it would be perfectly fine. but as it is, it potentially ruins the game for the rest of the players.

I really wish riot would work out some way for games to be able to continue fairly when a player leaves. because as you say - players leaving is inevitable. real life stuff comes up, or a game crash, a power outage, or just someone getting upset, or any of 100 things that could make someone disconnect. it shouldn't have to ruin the game when something like that happens.
