I don't understand

Just recently played a game where my team totally got wrecked but yet we continued on without a word. (Weird right no ragers) And the Yi on their team kept talking so much shmack and raging and saying so much negative stuff. Once the game ended I reported him and so did my teammates and he reported us as well. I GOT A WARNING, when i NEVER did ANYTHING. How does this make sense Riot? You implement this system where you want to control this yet innocent people get warning and probably get banned for nothing..... Please explain

It's happened to other people too, including CLG Doublelift.

The warning appears if people report or false report you. It leaves no negative marks on your account, so don't worry and think of it as a 'friendly reminder'.

Because you said nothing during the game it will fall into the false report category, but the message still pops up just in case.
