Genderbent Champion skins!

Alright people of League Of Legends! Opposite gender champion skins. I know, I know... It's weird to some people but lets be honest. Who wants to be able to play a Male Vi? Tough, bulky build with GIANT power fists!(Maybe a flamin pink mo-hawk?) It would bring in cash flow and what not but for a lot of people, they want to play as a champ that reflects their gender! Some people of the male gender wants to play a female Fist pumping Vi when they can play a skin that shows off his gangster looks and cold steel fists.(If you do, more props to ya!) How about you ladies out there who want to beat down enemies with your Domacian Strength as a FEMALE Garen? Tough(yet sexy) exterior(and almost unbeatable strength). I would buy them all for the champs I play! I've attached some Pictures of fan art from some quick searching for idea purposes mainly. I would love to see something so amazing surface in The League Of Legends marketplace! All I ask is that Riot please consider this.

This is ridiculous. Even right now a lot of the skins are outright retarded. It's the main reason I vastly prefer the artistic style of Dota 2 over League of Legends. There are no clown items in Dota 2. There's no way to dress someone up in an 80s retro style. Everything in League is such a hodgepodge of different themes and memes, it's really drifted out of the land of being in on the joke, and into the land of being the joke itself. More stuff like this that completely defy the character only serves to hurt the game, where as Valve is further polishing character concepts to a mirror shine.

Well a lot of people love the champions wild extra skins. If you dislike the idea that much then you don't have to buy them. There are people out there who use skins to define them or just because. We do not need a reason to buy skins. If you think Dota 2 is better then play it and don't compare it to games that have surpassed it. I'm sorry you feel the way you do and all you have to do is not buy skins. It would be less wild without skins and quite bland without some form of expression.

I have to deal with in-game clutter, even if I don't personally buy into it.

Also, you better watch comments like "that have surpassed it" considering Dota becomes increasingly popular with every month.

Dota has been around forever though. So considering that, yes I see what you are saying but that is merely an opinion. if your computer cannot handle the clutter of a few skins then maybe you need an upgrade. Otherwise, here on LoL, you are just going to have to deal with it.

My computer can handle a terabyte of information. My brain, on the other hand, can't process a barfbag of different skins and still enjoy the game.

Also, dota has been around since before LoL (and was indeed the premise), but Dota 2 has been recently created and is ran by Valve. I don't know if you know who Valve is, but they're kind of a big deal.

There is no reason to be a dota snob on the League forums, seriously thats just being a troll. As much as dota 2 grows league is still much much bigger. Dota 2 peaks at half a million users in a day. While League of Legends has 32.5 million players a day. Dota is a fun game and all but it is nowhere near the level league is at.

As for staying on topic with the op, this idea has been brought up before and I am pretty sure someone from Riot said they would never do this. I guess it is just a little too weird for people.

I seriously have no idea why, though. They say skins are for all sorts of reasons, what if I want to play Lux but don't want to play a female champion? I just dont understand how something so good can be thought of as "weird". lol what if a couple people think that Katarina's Cat skin is revealing and offending to the female population? will they take her down or deny other skins? It just isnt clear to me.

Yea I see and I know it is a big deal but I like LoL even tough I'm pretty bad at it. So I take it that you don't like the idea or you just don't like champion skins at all? Pantheon

A point that one of the guys from work liked to point out is that little teenage boys want to play as sexy champs. I kinda noticed that while asking around what peoples opinions are during matches. You would be surprised on how many actually stated that they like playing hot women... I think some guys find it "stupid" is cause they want to play as sexy female champs that they can watch dance and taunt. I do not have any idea why people would find it weird to add opposite sex skins when there are scarier skins that resemble some of Las Vegas' finest fun female companions(If you catch my drift). I would be happy if a Riot member(We call them "The Rioteers" here) just notified me his/her opinion and why or why not.
