How does promotion work?
I just got my placement matches over with and got put in bronze 1.

Get 100 league points by winning ranked games. After that you will need to win at least 3 out of your next 5 games to get into silver. If you don't succeed those placement matches, you will be put back into bronze 1, but you will still have some league points.
As said before, you play more ranked games and if you win you will gain LP. If you lose, you will lose LP. Once you reach 100 LP you get put into your promo series.
For a promo series from Div 1 to next tier you have to win 3/5 games (your tier). For a promo series from a Div to another Div you have to win 2/3 games to move up.
