Losing LP due to AFKers

I'm sure this has been complained about plenty of times before, but I'm bringing it up again, because for people in elo hell like me, there is nothing more annoying then doing fine in your lane and the game in general and then losing 20 lp due to a person who dces or afks in the middle of the game. ESPECIALLY when wins only bring in like 14-17 lp. I understand that you can't keep the game fair completely with some options but I feel like just maybe league could make a feature where maybe if someone is afk/dces for 10 minutes, and the game is lost, then no or extremely little lp is lost...just something to consider...

I love your game to the moon and back but it's things like this that make me wonder why I waste my homework time and gas money to play this game...Please consider a fix rito :) Katarina summoner 14 item 3146

Riots basic view on this subject is "get over it." Their fix is to tell you to play more and the AFKs will be diminished by sheer numbers.

I totally agree about fixing the problem. I don't really get why riot would say "get over it" when that just ruins the fun in the game because you're losing all the time. I hope riot would just understand that losing tons of LP for an AFK is ridiculous when you did fine in laning. AFKs wont diminish because theres a lot of cry babies out there who just shut down their computer after they get killed and give their opponent first blood.
