Not sure if a bug but super annoying
Disclaimer: I have a PBE account.
Basically ever since the 6.6 cycle started on PBE, I started experiencing one or more of the following in nearly all of my games:
- Game sound breaks up (not sure if background music does as well, but champion quotes and skill sounds definitely becomes broken up very badly)
- The ping becomes very very unstable. My actual ping appears to be fine when not playing LOL, but it almost goes into a ping spike cycle in game where it would jump up to 300+ ping, fall back down to around 20, then back up again.
- The FPS drops down. A lot. This mostly happens when there's a lot of action happening on my screen, where the FPS can drop to as low as 5 fps.
When Patch 6.6 came to the NA server, I started experiencing the same issues there as well. I currently use a MacBook Air. Yes, I recognize the fact that this laptop is not the best device to play LOL on (and that the issue may simply be that my laptop sucks), but I had no problem with it up until the patch mentioned above. I have also heard from other Mac players that they are experiencing similar issues as well.
Any thoughts? Is there anybody else who's experiencing similar issues? It would be really nice to get a Red response too.
