Brujin, The Unifier
From a young age, Brujin had a gift for command. His words could inspire even the most cowardly of men to stand tall and undaunted in the face of even the most hopeless odds and his mind for strategy could be matched by few. It was early in his career as a soldier for Demacia that his gifts truly came to light. Noxus had struck a crippling blow against an outlying Demacian fortification and with nothing to stop them, they would be able to march into the heart of Demacia unimpeded. Well.. Almost nothing.
The Noxus advance came under the cover of night, a brutal and relentless surprise assault that seemed to fall on them from all sides and was led by The Sinister Blade herself; the Demacian forces were practically crippled before the alarms could even sound. Within minutes, the Commander of the forces stationed within, attempted to rally and reorganize his men, the call was never finished, silenced instantly as a dagger lodged itself deep into his eye socket.
The loss of their commander was demoralizing, the loss of so many allies in such little time, even more so. It was a lost cause, the Demacian forces steeled themselves for what was surely be their final battle. Death seemed inevitable until a young soldier stepped forward into the fray, taking up his fallen Commanders helmet and shield, forgoing his blade in favor of a second means of defending himself and others. His booming, almost unnaturally powerful voice echoed outward through the keep:
"We are but a stones throw from Demacias gates! Fall here and she will fall with you! Will you let this Noxian scum claim your home?" a flurry of daggers are deftly deflected by the young mans shields
"I think not! They attack us in our sleep, for they know that we are superior! They strike at us when our eyes are closed because they know that they could not win were they open!" even the enemy combatants seem compelled to listen to his words, as a sudden wave of courage and power overtakes the Demacian forces.
"Gather to me and let us show these treacherous worms what their underhanded tactics have earned them! To me, brothers! For Demacia!" He roars as his allies break away from their adversaries to join him.
The battle was one of attrition and cleverness, the Demacian soldiers following Brujins orders through multiple tactical retreats throughout the fortress grounds and interior, forcing their Noxian adversaries to overcome choke points, pincer attacks and to fall under the keeps traps and defensive mechanisms, Brujin always being the last to fall back, soaking up blows intended for allies and practically nullifying the Noxian advance.
Hours passed as the Demacians fought tooth and nail, no longer as much for their nation as for the men who stood at their side, no longer for the glory of defeating Noxus, but for the hope that they might, together, help to see one another make a safe return home. By the time the battle was over, only five Demacian soldiers remained on their feet, bonded forever by the ordeal they had overcome.
A statue of Brujin now stands in the courtyard of the fortress, a timeless reminder that even the lowest soldier can become a legend should he have enough heart to grasp for it.
Brujin now helps to oversee Demacian war tactics, and the training of Demacian soldiers; ensuring that each and every one of them knows that in the right hands; a stalwart shield can be made more deadly than a poisoned arrow.
Abilities:
Passive:
For the Fallen!
Any time Brujin sees an allied unit fall in battle, he rallies his remaining nearby forces, temporarily increasing their health and resource regeneration.
Tactical Positioning
Brujin places a small marker on the ground, denoting positions that offer a tactical advantage:
If an allied Champion passes over it, they gain increased movement speed and the marker is destroyed.
If the allied Champion is struck while standing on the marker, the damage is greatly reduced and the marker destroyed.
Brothers in War
Brujin marks an ally and defends that ally with his life.
For a short time, the marked allies Armor, Magic Resist and Maximum Health are all made equal to Brujins.
If the ally is killed, Brujin becomes demoralized until they revive, disabling his ability to use For the Fallen! and Brothers in War and Take Cover!.
Note: an allies health percentage stays the same. As an example: if Brujin has 5000 Max health and uses this ability on someone who has 500/1000, the target would have 2500/5000.
Take Cover!
Brujin buries his twin tower shields in the ground, creating a barricade that intercept all ranged attacks that pass through them.
Brujin must use this ability again when near his shields to re-collect them.
if either of these are destroyed, Brujin must return to the shop to replace them.
Brujin loses 20% of his bonus armor and health per missing shield.
Not today!
Brujin picks up a fallen ally and carries them to safety. If Brujin returns to the fountain or remains out of combat for XX seconds, the ally is instantly revived with XX% Health and Mana
Brujin has his movement speed reduced by XX% while he carries an ally.
RIP, Brujin69.
