Would Riot buy another MOBA (Dawngate)?

I was browsing the comment section on Surrender@20, and there were some summoners talking about League/Dawngate comparisons when I came across this comment : "I wish Riot bought Dawngate and incorporated it into LOL, doing the changes needed. It would be cool." and "They [Dawngate] had some pretty cool concepts. and because the play style is much more similar to LoL than Dota. I think Riot could implement some of the mechanics their heroes had into League."

Would RIOT ever consider doing something like that? I myself played about 20 games of Dawngate while it was still around and had a good experience, and was quite shocked how familiar it felt after playing League for several years.

I'm interested to hear peoples opinions (especially Rioters) about RIOT buying the game and implementing skills/characters/ideas into LoL.
