[ RP ] :: Trade - in/Exchange

Well , I was thinking "Why can't I just trade my left over RP to some IP?" and that has stuck with me till now. I want to show what I thinking should be done with those excess RP, think about it, almost everyone has some left over RP just sitting there down nothing. Most of the skins are too much for the little bit of RP left. So here I am expressing my idea.

{ 1 } You must have 100+ RP to "Exchange" it { 2 } For every 100 RP you change grants you 1000 IP

"1000 IP per 100 RP"

um... NOPE...

There is never enough RP to go around, but mroe than plenty of IP.

There are plenty of older players who have 100K+ ip sitting around and cant do anything with it since they have all the champions/ runes and anything you can buy with IP so nope...Disagree...

The trade off isnt worth it. You can always convert you RP to a bundle booster for more IP during game play.

Do you know why the older players have so much IP? Back in the old days, they got more IP per match and newly released champions costed less. They were well prepared for the shift to 6300 IP champions, which now that it happens so rarely, isn't a big deal anyway.

Newer players will never be in that situation.

Edit: By the way, I just checked. A 2 win IP boost costs 160 RP. That's pretty much 1 RP for 1 bonus IP.

You would think that because old players bought champions that were less cost less, but in fact they werent cheap to start with. They were reduced over time.. True they didnt have as much 6300 IP champs, however, its not that difficult to get the IP if you actively play.

The key word is actively play. The booster can also be a duration time based so I've earned a ton on the duration ones before.

Also, doing the math, any champion 3150 and under is worth spending IP on, and not RP. RP champions on 4800IP and up are worth buying when they are on sale, or when you do not have the time to earn the 6300.

You only need IP for runes. Everything else can be purchased with RP so with this in mind, there is no value converting RP into IP in Riots eye or people who have played the game long enough to see it.

A. It takes 26 days to afford a 6300 IP champion by getting a win a day. Meaning you will maybe be able to afford 13 63000 IP champions a year, if you don't buy any other champions. Meaning it will take over 2 years of playing alone before you can even start on the cheaper ones.

B. There's no value in the 130 IP sitting in your account that will never afford you anything, either.
