That thing in the top right of your screen is related to net or pc? Coz the last year my max ping was 50 now I cant seem to get lower than 150. Notice that I made my frame setting capped to 25. I even sometimes get freezy lag, idk last year they were saying something about ddos and now its been 1 year alrdy and the lag exists.

the net. a ping is when your machine sends out a signal and then the signal returns back. it has to do with the interwebs but hardware can affect this.

ping is related to what?

Ping is the amount of errors a computer gets when sending information and receiving it back.

A lot of things can influence this.

The one you have the biggest control over is the wiring involved. Weather can really do a number on the connection to your house, things like water and rust on the wiring can quickly kill your internet speed.

and it is measured in miliseconds. so 100ms or less is about average. That mean 1/10 of a second to send and return a signal. Thats why when people get over 1k it seems like the world is crashing around them. It is literally taking 1 second for information to leave their computer and come back.

My ping has really never changed...my average is 80 but if i leave microtorrent open or don't shut my pc down fro a while ti get to about 100 and i run at LEAST 60 fps steady. 150 is kinda high but functionable. try resetting your router and closing unnecessary programs when loling it up

your ping is the time it takes your pc to communicate with riot's pc. the farther you are away the longer it takes.

issues on either end can cause high ping, it doesn't necessarily have to be your fault or riots fault.
