RIOT ATTENTION PLEASE

Riot has not responded to that post yet, and I figured re posting it here in the "Community Beta" that alot of Reds seem to enjoy might cause them to generate a little discussion. At least that was the plan.

First of all let me start by saying i enjoyed this game RIOT has made and was a loving player, spending ungodly hours learning to play, begging teammates, just as everyone has.

I managed to get Diamond in season 3 playing mainly Ezreal, Shaco, and Twisted fate.

However you will notice i played near no games at the end of S3 and none really in S4. I played a few customs to try some tricks i saw on youtube with riven but even that was months ago.

Now what causes this the community, the gameplay, the sadness of re-ranking in a new season?

No, it is purely now that a program Bot Of Legends (BoL) referred to as BoL from here on out has ruined this game and i have sat back and observed.

Lets start at the begging of this BoL nightmare.

On an alt account playing with friends in lower gold i notice a player with diamond level CS and amazing reaction time especially at juking skill shots.

So i invite this person to maybe play some games on our mains (i of course was assuming he was diamond as well)

After sometime he explains he does not have a diamond main and is using BoL and of course provided a link.

I decided to ignore it and believe he was simply trying to steal my account and removed the person.

After noticing more and more players at a low elo with skills far above the norm you see in that elo i decided to do some googling on this BoL subject.

It turns out the bot is a framework for Lua script (and a rather outdated version of LuA as well)

So of course i now believed this is truly a real fact that any player can hold 1 or prehaps 2 keys and let some Lua script do the rest.

The scripts most commonly used do the following for the player Champion - preforms near perfect harass and combo timing (generally set to the space bar key or known as SBTW) CS/Orbwalk - player holds one of two keys one only last hits for you the other mixes harassing a player and lasting Evade - Using hooked functions moves the player to dodge any skill shots automatically and dodging skill shots that would make real players scream and feel like faker such as flashing crescendo at point blank range.

Well of course that is all an issue when i first looked into it they are charging people per month for this or were at the time.

Now we get to today with the main site having 59105 active members and growing thousands per day and the league community screaming for a ban wave.

But it gets worse sadly

Recently they changed to allow free limited access to this program i believe a limit of scripts? So add more thousands to that per day growth.

Game breaking exploits

Recently the BoL community has been a leader in exploiting the game finding a packet where items purchased and sold were and allowing the BotRK exploit that ruined so many games before thank god riot fixed it.

Exploits that allow free tear stacks

Exploits that allow free ashe Q's

Lord knows what else they have to be at all honest.

The league community has been uprising and screams to RIOT to take action but sadly with the countless thousand of league players begging to have this program stopped RIOT has officially posted nothing that they have or plan to do something about the cheating.

The programmer

Over the past few days i decided to look into how hard this would be to detect server end for riot. So i after much effort (thanks cracked vmprotect for making stuff harder to get the source from) managed to get much of the pseudocode code source from the bot.

This bot hooks every function in League of legends.

Using a what their engine calls OnTick function can call whatever is being done once per millisecond!

Now as if its not easy enough already to detect that this program has no built in anti detection WHAT SO EVER.

Wait it gets easier to detect with the erratic mouse movements it sends and sending packets to move or attack at a rate impossible for any normal player a simple server side script taking 30 minutes to code could wipe out HALF or MORE of these hack users in days.

So with that all being said RIOT is you are attempting to detect this and stop hackers from destroying the community and players im sure that you love that support you guys and cheer for you guys every change they get

You are not trying hard enough You are letting US down RIOT

If a simple part time coder could detect this its a cake walk for you guys and im well aware that you know of this hacks exists.

So i say goodbye to another game i love watching it slowly die to hacks with little recourse

To add people quote ActivisonBlizzard (Blizzard) as the standard of games that were ruined by hacks

But Blizzard in wow has atleast ban some hackers has some kind of detection and even SUES the bot makers

RIOT however is aware and has tried nothing

So sadly i must say

League of legends - Riot gaming - is now the new standard for companies that let their game die due to hackers.
