A True Story of Holiday Spirit in League of Legends!!

This for a TRUE heartwarming holiday story that happened on our favorite game "League of Legends"! I wrote this with love!

Everyone has definitely had a game where there was a player on the team someone would consider "Toxic". Someone who would complain over every little thing or someone who just wouldn't co-operate with their team and making it a rough experience.

The summoner "Vita Brevis" would NOT be one of them.

Two weeks ago this random stranger and I were playing a game together where I was playing support as Blitzcrank and he was playing Vel'Koz in the mid lane. He did extremely well! So well that he ended the game with a perfect score! (19/0 I believe). This was made possible over a couple of occasions by me! There were some perfectly co-ordinated chain knockups and some pretty clutch flash pulls over walls .. but we totally made it happen! He carried the whole team to victory!

After the game was over we added each other to chat about how suspenseful the final moment of the game were. After a few lighthearted responses to another he told me he would gift me a Blitzcrank skin in two weeks! Immediately I told him that it was fine and that it was just well enough just to have fun playing with such a friendly person, ESPECIALLY because it was just a normal game that didn't mean much. He, however, insisted on the gift.

Two weeks had past and I had completely forgotten about said incoming gift, assuming he would think better than to give a completely random stranger a gift, while not expecting anything back whatsoever. Today I logged into League of Legends for a quick game or two and to my complete and utter surprise the gifting animation showed up! It was the same guy I had played with weeks ago! The gift was iBlitzcrank. A 1350 RP skin from the warmness of a strangers heart. A wonderful unexpected surprise indeed.

It just goes to show how a little kindness and thoughtful consideration can make even the most random of strangers into friends.
