Is Baron from the Void?

With the new Summoner's Rift VU, I can't help but notice that the new Baron shares some physical similarities with Vel'koz, and his colour scheme is very reminiscent of Kha'Zix. In addition, the cracks spreading out of the ground from Baron's 'emergence point' are purple. Could Baron be Voidborn?
