Getting to bronze (Smurf)

TLDR; Is there a way to get to bronze on an account without intentionally losing game and creating a negative experience for my team?

Now before people tell me that smurfing itself is bad and how smurfing ruins the experience of games anyways, I have a reason. Everyone has heard the stories of people saying that they are stuck in bronze or silver and blame their team. I want to tell them that it is possible to climb out by yourself by improving or playing in a certain way but, I personally have never played in that elo. On my main I was placed above it back in Season 1 so, I made a smurf so I could play ranked with friends (after the duo restriction) with the intention that I would also be able to experience the climb but I was still placed into gold after provisionals. I also don't want to be toxic by feeding in games so that my team loses. So how is it possible to get an account to bronze without intentionally losing games so I can experience the thing known as "elo hell" to many.

you can't decay anymore in gold or lower so the first post is moot

my suggestion is to make it your "play when super drunk" account

get super drunk and play. you probably won't play very well, and it's not immoral because you're legitimately trying.

and on the bright side, you'll have a play when super drunk account to mess around on when you're super drunk :D

Decay, but that takes months.

It's possible to climb out of silver/bronze (Recently got out of B5), and every smurf seems to want to beat a dead horse saying it's possible and wants to try it. It ruins the game for other players of the actual skill level, though.

Hum.... here's some ideas for you

  • Don't try to last hit minions. Just attack the wave as a whole, auto attack all the time, and only kill what happens to come your way.

  • Don't ever buy additional wards. Only occasionally use your trinket ward (place one ward with it in the time you could have placed two). If you're the support, maybe buy some wards, but don't get a sight stone.

  • Disable quick cast. It'll slow you down enough to keep any mechanical knowledge you have from being overbearing in the game.

If your smurf has never been ranked before, you'll probably place somewhere in Bronze. You'll still be helping the team out, and avoiding feeding, but you won't be playing as optimally as you could.
