Hi GD, with the end of season 3 only 37 hours away, there are many of you who will be scrambling to get that LP, win that promo series, and get that next tier.

In the above thread, I made a post about my journey from what would now be considered bronze V to platinum, which really resonated with and inspired many people (I hope). But I realized that, whether you're diamond or plat is relatively irrelevant compared to whether you're bronze, silver, or gold, because of the Victorious ward skin and Elise skin.

What is most important, however, is not the rewards you get for reaching some level of ranked play, but the rewards you get from knowing that you are improving at something that you know and love. I think that for many players, improving, and knowing that you're improving, can be really hard to do if you are playing at a low level of ranked play.

Whether you believe it or not, you are constantly learning from the other players you play with. If you are playing with unskilled players, it is inherently difficult (not impossible) to learn how to play at a higher level. I realize that I will be unable to get Diamond any time soon due to school, but I still want to make a difference with my knowledge of the game, and so:

I'm offering to duo ranked with anyone who wants to learn more about the game. If you are below gold, then I will go on my smurf. The goal of this is not to carry some stranger to a higher level of ranked play. Rather, I want to provide a platform where players can learn about the game and more importantly, play a carry position. What does this mean?

  1. I will always support if possible. It's not fair to the other team if I'm playing a carry position. It's more fair if I'm playing support. It doesn't matter to me what role you play.

  2. You learn how to carry yourself. It doesn't you any good if I just hop on Sejuani in the jungle (hue) and wreck the other team, while you end up supporting a useless marksman. You'll get to a higher level, and you won't have learned anything, and you'll go straight back down. Learning the carry roles is key.

  3. The only thing I can offer to you is a better knowledge of the game. I can't GARENtee that we will win, nor can I ensure that our game will be free of trolls (Trolling is still quite common in gold and platinum).

Finally, I want to see if any other high-level players would be interested in join me in teaching our lower level members of the community. It's a very rewarding experience in itself, and it's a good way to break from the stresses of your own ranked games.

Best o' luck, community! Jarvan Krislov (plat 3) Team Solofeed (gold 5)

One thing I wonder, how good would you be on ADC (or junglers other than Sejuani). I'd love to nibble a bit on that offer (GOld 3 atm, but not shooting for Plat, so let's do it pre-s4), but I main support...

I'm in bronze 2 and get matched with trolls every single game and really think i deserve to be higher. If you could duo with me and help me get out that would be great.
