A ticket of hope. Riot's neglected tribunal system and how it can be improved.
Riot A friend and I were discussing your article on improving the tribunal and came up with a great concept that could relieve some of the grief that comes with trolls in ranked play. When a troll gets reported they get banned from ranked play by the tribunal. Then that player must play a certain number of normal games, (depending on how severe the case is), without being reported in order to access ranked queues again. If they are reported during those (lets say five) normal games they get an extension on how many normal games are needed. This way you don't completely ban someone from playing LOL altogether, yet you protect those who play ranked. The people who troll can still troll, (god knows there's no stopping them) but only in normal games. If they wanted to troll in ranked that bad, they would have to spend a considerable amount of time not trolling which goes against what trolls like to do. They want to troll and want to troll now. The game counter also prevents them from just waiting till the ban period is over then trolling at will again. This concept I believe promotes people to act according to the summoner's code and promotes kind positive relations between players while still allowing people to play LOL. Let me know any feedback you guys have!
