(sorry if I post this wrong, don't really use these forums alot. I assume it fits best in misc.)
When spec mode broke, the 5 (usually diamond) games that were highlighted for everyone to spectate on the client homepage were taken down. We ever getting those back?
Just wonderin', cause I liked to watch them.
ValyrianBlade2 votesThere were bugs causing it to crash repeatedly. I would guess they removed spectator and will reinstate it when they fix it. Would also guess it's low priority during world's.
Deep Terror Nami2 votesSpectator mode has been fixed for a while, but the Featured Matches of high elo games on the main page of the client has not come back. Or at least I haven't had issue spectating friends, and they removed the "spectator mode broken, we're fixing" notification.
ValyrianBlade1 votesOh interesting, I had no idea. I'd also comment that the new patcher makes finding news much harder, I've been on the lookout for certain skin sales for months and now I actively need to remember to go to the website every 3 days to see what's on sale rather than just looking via the launcher... worried when the one I want finally does come on sale I'll miss it :/
Deep Terror Nami1 votesI don't know how they get it, but people post the monthly sale calendar on Reddit. Here's the September Sale Schedule. Doesn't seem the October one is up, or at least I can't find it.
Deep Terror Nami2 votesAgreed. I know there are 3rd party methods for spectating live matches, but it's using the spectator client exactly how it's supposed to be used, so I don't see why we don't have the Featured Matches again straight from Riot.
