There is so much natural Rivalry between Zaun and Piltover,but why is there no tension? Riot need to make a few changes and turn one-off champions into something that could be part of a bigger picture. Jayce vs. Viktor is a nice start, but who will make the first act of war?
If you read Jayce's lore, he already made a first move, which could lead to a war IF Victor wanted to create a war (which I can see happening)..which is why Jayce protects the city. Because his actions drew a lot of attention from dangerous enemies. (Which sounds like the start of a potential war, and would be epic to see happen, as everyone gets new skins for upcoming battles and they would have pretty big events and maybe some Lore add-ons and touchups similar to what they did with Trundle when Lissandra came out.)
If pitched right, I think it would go through. And if done right, I think Riot would gain a lot of money from all the players wanting new skins for their champions and getting hyped over new things happening. Much similar to when the whole hype over Udyr's new skin, and the war between tribes when Lissandra came out.
that would be a great idea actually, it could also lead to 1)champion remake for zaun and piltover 2)new skin 3)new map covered on offence defence or just no jungle and only map hazard to represent the SCIENCE where it would be more about map strategy then map making tanks more viable when acting like walls and mobile units go down for kills. Also, i can easly see victor pull on the first blow on this war seeing as zaun is quite aggressive while jayce is the "defender of tomorrow"
