Wasn't Poro initally used because it was finnish for reindeer? I swear i remember reading in a thread somewhere that it was an internal name and somebody found it through looking at the game files.
Why would people simply assume that poros are herbivorous?
It's a lie. It's supposed to be made with non-ZMO Freiljordian herbs.
If read the actual item description, poro snax are made from game hens. Poros are scavengers that feed of the dead, frozen bodies scattered about the freljord.

Yeah, poro means reindeer in Finnish. I've always wondered if this was intentional. Hilarious though.
